Each year, at the Science Center of Iowa, I was responsible for creating the branding, marketing collateral, and event signage for our annual fundraising event. I was provided with a theme for the year by our annual event committee and then developed that year's branding based on the theme. 2018's theme was Big Blast, which was the kick-off event of a three-year lead-up to SCI's 50th anniversary in 2020. We went with an Art Deco design with scientific elements.
